  • Part Time Project Coordinator

    TRANSLATION/LOCALIZATION PROJECT COORDINATOR

    Paragon Language Services is among the fastest growing language services providers in the country, with a diverse clientele that includes Fortune 500 Companies, local small businesses, non-profits and government agencies from local to federal levels. Paragon seeks a skilled Project Coordinator, preferably with experience in the translation industry and who wants to grow with us. This position is based in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles.     The Project Coordinator is a key player at Paragon, with a primary responsibility of supporting Project Managers in coordinating translation projects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Prepare and analyze files using translation memory software and develop cost estimates

    Support Project Managers with meeting project deadlines

    Send, receive, and archive localization assets

    Provide general administrative support to the Executive staff, including the President and CEO

    Process vendor and client invoices

    Manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Ability to work with and without supervision

    Exercise sound judgment in keeping supervisor informed of potential difficulties

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Minimum three years' office experience, preferably in the translation or creative industry

    Outstanding verbal and written English language skillsStrong computer skills including MS Office and Internet applications, preferable using DTP software

    Bachelor’s degree or higher

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    Verbal and written foreign language skills

    Commitment to professional customer service

    Positive attitude and a true team player with clear sense of accountability

    Energetic self-starter with initiative and creative approach to problem solving

    Salary: Competitive Entry Level

    Work Schedule: Part-time (flexible schedule, 20 hours per week)
