Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

If at any point one needed proof that one man could change the world, we need look no further than Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy.

We recently celebrated Martin Luther King Day and remember that this country we call our home has come a long way since the marches in Selma and segregation; it is still a sobering fact that we have a long way to go. Dr. King and the civil rights leaders who were instrumental in shaping this country have taught us that ALL people... no matter the gender, race or religion are equal and deserve the same opportunities and respect.

The relevance of Dr. King's words still ring
true in a climate where racial tensions are high and compassion is low. Paragon is proud to pay homage to Dr. King, and we continue to hope for a day where people "will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

Happy Lunar New Year!
On January 28th many Asian countries begin the celebration of the Lunar New Year representing the Year of the Rooster!

Many Westerners believe that the Lunar New Year solely represents the Chinese New Year, but it is celebrated in many Asian countries with significant Chinese populations, including Cambodia, China (of course), Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam.

The Lunar New Year is a centuries-old tradition in Asian cultures; with days-long celebrations centered around family reunions, traditional dishes, prayer and vibrant decor welcoming good fortune, health, and prosperity.

In this Year of the Rooster we wish all our clients,
friends and colleagues:

恭祝健康、幸运,新年快乐。
Gōngzhù jiànkāng, xìngyùn, xīnnián kuàilè.
Good health, good luck and much happiness throughout the year.
